It still runs on current

From 1961 it fed the east side of the city. Two turbines, three shifts, a hum you could feel from the tram stop.

In 1994 they cut the load. The hall went dark. Pigeons, rust, the odd trespasser with a torch.

We found the switchboard still wired. We added a sound system, not a renovation. The building does the rest.

  • DMX routed through the 1961 switchboard
  • Lights run by hand, every night
